Achieving the Entrepreneurs Dream – Advice from a man who’s helped sell over 140 different businesses!

We are all looking to get the rewards for all the years of hard work that we put into running our businesses.

Rewards come in many forms as a business owner. Helping my customers get amazing results is something that I get a huge reward from but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t want to build a business and brand that other companies were interested in buying.

I have spoken to several entrepreneurs who have gone through the process of selling their business and nearly all of them tell me that the process takes a lot of hard work, effort and time!

Mark Edwards is the CEO of Boss Equity and a man who has been running, selling and advising other business owners on how to sell their business for over 30 years. Mark has run and built his own business but has since 1999 been advising hard working entrepreneurs on the steps they need to take if they are to achieve the financial rewards of selling their company.

Mark has been involved in over 140 different acquisitions and so I would argue knows more about selling businesses that anyone else in the UK! I was lucky enough to interview Mark a few weeks ago and I asked him to share what he has learned in his career and outline what any business owner needs to do if they are looking to sell their company.

The interview was incredibly interesting and had so many great pointers in it that I had to listen to it three times myself to ensure I was taking on board myself Mark’s great advice.
