How to Acquire More Customers in 2019

• Offer incredible customer experience

This isn’t just about the customer service they receive, but the whole experience. From visiting your website initially, to receiving their order and everything in between. This is their experience at every stage of the buying process. Ensure you prioritise customer experience above everything else and your customers will begin to talk about the incredible experience they had.

• Ask them to refer you

2. Expand your Network

Utilising your existing customers and gaining referrals is a great place to start but eventually you’ll need to start expanding your network. How do you do this?

Networking events are a great way of meeting like-minded people and people that are interested in you or your company. Get your name out there, position yourself as an expert in your field and watch your network expand.

• Speak at events

Networking events are great but speaking at networking events is even better. Secure yourself a speaking gig and this will really position you as an expert in your industry and someone that is worth building a relationship with. This, in turn will help you acquire more customers in 2019.

• Help others

When people in your network get stronger, you get stronger. Therefore, giving members of your network a helping hand will also benefit you as they’re likely to return the favour later down the line. Share your ideas and knowledge, connect people with prospective customers and become someone that is worth helping too.  

3. Build Relationships

Marketing technology has continuously advanced and it’s popularity has increased year on year and 2019 will be no different. Asking them for feedback means you can use positive quotes as a testimonial to help you acquire more customers.

5. Set Targets

Too often, businesses hit the ground running without defined targets or goals in place. It’s important that you put targets in place so that yourself and your team know what you are working towards. If you set out to acquire X number of customers each month, you’re more likely to get there. However, if you don’t know what your goals are, they’re much harder to achieve.
